Gender Equality Officers of the Faculties and Spokesperson for Gender Equality (BZL)
The Gender Equality Officers of the Faculties function as the Central Gender Equality Officer’s deputies and work closely with her. In their respective departments, they take on the same responsibilities as those the Central Gender Equality Officer holds within the University as a whole. In order to allow them to do this, some of the Central Gender Equality Officer’s rights are transferred to them.
The individual faculties have already established a number of gender equality measures of their own which are designed to address the specific needs and demands of their disciplines. Some of these were initially developed by the Gender Equality Office or started out as projects supported by the fund for the structural integration of gender equality within the faculties.
