Current Information:
The MeTra Program currently takes place in German. For the 2025-2026 intake, however, we are beta-testing a bilingual (German & English) program for the Postdoc line. Please feel free to apply to the Postdoc line even if you do not feel comfortable attending workshops in German. If you have any questions or concerns, please always feel free to contact the Head of the Program.
All applications documents for all lines will be accepted in either German or English.
The MeTra Program Application Process
If you have any questions about the mentoring program or the admission requirements, please contact the program manager. If you are not sure which group or line is right for you, we will be happy to advise you. Applications are possible at any time. You will be invited to an individual interview after the application deadline at the latest. There are only a limited number of places available per round. In case of doubt, the date of receipt of the application is a decisive factor.
What is required?
- Short letter of motivation with details of your experience, ideas and expectations of the program (PDF)
- Curriculum vitae in table form (PDF)
- Completed application form according to your qualification level (see Downloads)
- Declaration of consent for the collection and processing of data (see Downloads)
